The Entrance is centrally located between Sydney and Newcastle, approximately one hour’s drive from either city.
Travelling from Sydney / Southern NSW
- Take the M1 Motorway north from Sydney.
- Leave the M1 Motorway at the Wyong/The Entrance/Yarramalong exit.
- At the top of the exit you will come to a set of traffic lights, here you will turn right and follow the Wyong Road through Tuggerah, Berkeley Vale and Killarney Vale.
- At the Shelly Beach roundabout, turn left onto The Entrance Road (also known as the Central Coast Highway).
- Continue along The Entrance Road for approximately 5 minutes and you will arrive at The Entrance.
Travelling from Newcastle / Northern NSW
Option A: M1 Motorway
- Take the M1 Motorway south and exit the M1 at the Wyong/The Entrance/Yarramalong exit.
- Veer left onto the Wyong Road through Tuggerah, Berkeley Vale and Killarney Vale.
- At the Shelly Beach roundabout, turn left onto The Entrance Road (also known as the Central Coast Highway).
- Continue along The Entrance Road for approximately 5 minutes and you will arrive at The Entrance.
Option B: From Newcastle/Pacific Highway
- If you are travelling from Newcastle travel south along the Pacific Highway through Charlestown, Belmont and Swansea.
- You will pass the Cams Wharf, Catherine Hill Bay and Chain Valley Bay turn offs and travel through to Doyalson.
- Turn left at the Doyalson traffic lights into Norah Road which then becomes Scenic Road.
- Continue along Scenic Road through Budgewoi, across the bridge at Budgewoi and follow the road as it veers to the right. This is now Budgewoi Road.
- Travel straight through the roundabout (Noraville turnoff will be on your left) and continue along Wilfred Barrett Drive.
- You will now travel approximately 10kms until you reach The Entrance North.
- To reach The Entrance town centre travel across The Entrance bridge and turn left at the roundabout.
