Advent Brass Band

The Entrance is proud to present the Advent Brass Band from Melbourne for your enjoyment

Advent Brass was formed in 1924 by educationalist W.J. Gilson and today the band's Musical Director, Reynold Gilson is the founder;s grandson. For the past 89 years, the band has , schools and the community continuously by assisting in a variety of programs, concerts and marching parades. The band is highly regarded in the local communities and has also won and received many awards at Band Championships.

Just this year an additional band has been assembled, catering particularly for newcomers to brass instruments.
